Junior Curriculum
The Year 7–9 (Junior Curriculum) provides a strong academic foundation while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and confidence. Students follow a single, balanced pathway that combines core subjects with creative, physical, and holistic opportunities.
The timetable is fully personalised to reflect each learner’s strengths, needs, and aspirations. Adaptations to content, pace, and delivery ensure learning that fits—through targeted support, extension, or alternative arrangements.
This approach equips students for the specialist pathways of Years 10 and 11, while building the skills and self-belief needed for success in the wider world.

Tina - Year 7
'Year 7 was exciting because I got to try so many new subjects and join Jewellery making elective club.
I liked making friends with some of the older kids who were kind and funny'

Bethany - Year 8
'In Year 8 I liked best learning about Neolithic farming with Mr Swann. We went out to the farm every week to plant and grow things with my friends. It was hard work, but it was also really cool and fun.'

Rudi - Year 9
'In Year 9 we got to run the Sports Leaders project with Mr Vaughan. It was fun to mix sports with learning and to give Prep kids the chance to play and get better at sports like rounders and football'
