Senior Curriculum
In Years 10 and 11, students follow one of two main pathways – IB MYP or the Composite pathway – each offering a different balance of subject focus and learning approach. These years are highly personalised, and it is common for elements of either pathway to be adapted or blended to create learning that fits each student’s needs. At the end of Year 9, teachers provide clear guidance to help students and families choose the pathway that offers the best fit for their strengths, interests, and future aspirations.

Middle Years Programme (MYP)
Our IB Middle Years Programme pathway combines academic challenge with real-world relevance. Students enjoy a broad mix of subjects alongside unique MYP elements such as the Personal Project, Service as Action, and Approaches to Learning skills. With its emphasis on inquiry, global awareness, and connections across disciplines, the MYP develops confident, adaptable learners who are ready to thrive both in school and beyond.
Alongside their subject studies, students take part in the MYP’s distinctive core components:
-
Personal Project – A self-directed, independent project in the final year, allowing students to explore a personal interest in depth.
-
Service as Action – Active engagement in the community, developing social responsibility and empathy through meaningful service learning.
-
Approaches to Learning (ATL) Skills – Deliberate development of research, collaboration, communication, and self-management skills across all learning.
-
Interdisciplinary Learning – Opportunities to connect ideas across subjects, tackling real-world issues from multiple perspectives.
