The Prep curriculum is shaped by the principles of the Cambridge Primary Curriculum (CPC)—emphasising global understanding, critical thinking, and inquiry-led learning. These foundations support our commitment to active, engaging, and creative education that nurtures curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

While inspired by CPC, our curriculum is enriched by diverse influences and innovative practices tailored to the needs of our pupils. Core subjects—English, Maths, and Science—are aligned to the English National Curriculum, ensuring academic rigour and allowing us to benchmark progress against national expectations for learning progress. This blended approach prepares students to thrive in a fast-changing world.

Co-Curriculum

At Wotton House Prep, our co-curricular programme plays a vital role in delivering a truly holistic education. Co-curricular activities are structured learning experiences that take place outside the core academic timetable, yet are deeply connected to our values and educational mission.

We run these activities to help children grow in confidence, creativity, and independence—developing the personal and social skills they need to thrive. From sport and the arts to outdoor learning and service opportunities, our co-curricular offer encourages teamwork, curiosity, and resilience.
